Eye Care Services

Comprehensive Eye Health Exams - It is recommended to get an annual eye health exam. Our comprehensive eye health exam will provide a complete eye health evaluation. A prescription for eye glasses is included.

Diabetic Retinopathy Exams - Diabetic eye disease refers to a group of eye problems that people with diabetes may face as a complication of diabetes. All can cause severe vision loss or even blindness. Our office will thoroughly check the eyes annually to make sure diabetes has not affected your vision.

Children Eye Health Exams - School screenings are not sufficient to recognize many vision problems. Make sure your child gets the care they need and schedule a comprehensive eye health exam.

Contact Lens Fitting, Teach, and Evaluation - With a variety of contact lenses to choose, including the most popular brands, we make sure to put each of our patients in the best lens suited for their needs. Never worn contacts before? Not a problem, we have a well trained staff to help teach you the proper ways to wear contact lenses. Concluding your contact lens fit, Dr. will want to evaluate your vision to ensure you have the best comfort and vision possible out of your contacts.

Visual Field Screenings - A computerized test that provides additional information on the health of the eyes. The results may assist the doctor in the detection of retinal and neurological abnormalities. It is recommended to have it done every one to two years.

Dilated retinal exams - In order to fully assess the health of the eyes, we believe that a dilated retinal exam is necessary. With dilation, it is possible to see more than the retina and diagnose diseases that could be missed without it. One to two drops will be placed in each eye to open the pupils widely, and although the effect lasts for 4 to 6 hours, you should be able to drive safely.

Glaucoma Screenings - Glaucoma occurs when increased fluid pressure in the eye presses against the optic nerve, causing damage. The damage to optic nerve fibers can cause blind spots to develop. These blind spots usually go undetected until the optic nerve is significantly damaged. Since glaucoma progresses with few or no warning signs or symptoms and vision loss from glaucoma is irreversible, annual screening of people at high risk for the disease is vitally important. Studies show that early detection and treatment of glaucoma, before it causes major vision loss, is the best way to control the disease.

Refractions - Are commonly used to verify the correct prescription, and assists in measuring a patient’s refractive error and helps in determining the appropriate prescription to be used with eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Medical Visits - Dry eye, infections, foreign body, post ops, cataract evaluations, Lasik evaluations, computer vision syndrome, etc….
